Service Description

Up to 120 minutes with me in the comfort of your home as we prepare for your breastfeeding journey. A Prenatal Lactation Consultation & Breastfeeding Class will include: - Private instruction of my Breastfeeding 101 Class with slides, visual aids, and video. This class covers breastfeeding basics and what to expect the first 4 weeks. - Review of maternal health history, with attention and education focused on any issues that may affect breastfeeding - Maternal breast exam as indicated - Q & A - As many support people in attendance as you desire, at no additional charge (partner, grandparents, nanny, etc..) - Specific insights into the in-hospital labor/delivery/postpartum processes and how to best advocate for your feeding plan (as I have 10 years of in-hospital maternal/infant health experience) - Mouths of Babes Lactation Services exclusive Breastfeeding & Pumping "Cheat Sheets" PDF - Priority scheduling of an Initial Lactation Consultation after delivery (If your desired day/time isn't available after delivery, I will work with you to make sure you are accommodated! Contact me directly if this is needed.) Unlimited text messaging support with me for 24 hours after visit (business hours apply) in case any additional questions/concerns arise. Additional fees that may apply: Travel fee (for those outside my inner home visit radius - see map on page "Service Area"): $30 per visit

Cancellation Policy
